On January 27, 2009, at 5:42 p.m., a man walked up to a teller at the Bank of America (inside Save Mart – 5600 Folsom Boulevard) and demanded money from the cash drawer. The suspect then placed a white plastic grocery type shopping bag on the counter and held it open for teller. The suspect indicated he had a gun, however, no gun was seen. The teller complied and placed the money from the drawer in the bag.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 25-30 years-old, 5’7” tall and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. He had a dark mustache and goatee. He was wearing a yellow and white baseball hat, a light colored jacket, a blue plaid button-up shirt and white tennis shoes.
